Redlynch Guides meet on Wednesdays from 6.45pm to 8.30pm at the Methodist Church Hall, Woodfalls.  We have a lively Unit of enthusiastic girls aged from 10 to 16 and we have vacancies for more girls who might like to experience Guiding.  If you think you might be interested, please call the Leader, Sue Brown on one of the numbers at the top of this page.  We carry out a full and varied programme of indoor and outdoor activities which recently has included a treasure trail round Salisbury, a "Ready Steady Cook" evening, a night hike across the Forest and a barbecue at Boldrewood (pictured right).  Below are details of some of our upcoming activities.  We are also looking for fun-loving and energetic people aged 18 upwards to come along and see if they would like to join our team of leaders. No experience of Guiding is necessary.

Recent Events - Autumn Term 2016

Redlynch Guides have had another busy Autumn term. We have had a black cat/Halloween party with lots of traditional games like bobbing for apples and pinning the nose on the witch. The girls showed off their culinary skills in a “Ready, Steady, Cook” evening when they made really delicious pizzas and a beetle drive for Children in Need raised the sum of £36. Later in the term we had a very energetic and loud evening doing Zumba .

On a more serious note, the Unit was proud to take part in the Remembrance Sunday Parade to St Mary’s Church. Our end of term event was a visit to Snowtrax at Ringwood when two of our Guides were awarded their Baden Powell Challenge awards, which is the highest award that can be achieved as a Guide. Afterwards we enjoyed going down the dry ski slope on ringos and skibobs, followed by a festive meal.

We meet at the Woodfalls Methodist Hall on Wednesday evenings and welcome girls aged from 10 to 16 years of age. If you would like to know more, please contact Sue Brown, Tel: 07785 375275, email:
