The Lover Ladies are an independent group of ladies from Lover and the surrounding area. We are mixed in age and interests – any lady over the age of 18 is eligible to join or to attend our meetings as a guest. We normally meet on the second Wednesday of every month. The committee endeavours to put together a programme of events which are sociable, entertaining and interesting. We often invite guest-speakers or organise activities which everyone can try. Previous meetings have included line-dancing, decoupage, cookery demonstrations, croquet at Hamptworth, Tai chi, wine-tasting and guided nature walks…(the list goes on!) We normally meet in the Redlynch Village Hall, but have also held outdoor picnics, walks and special meals out in local pubs/restaurants. Members pay £30 per year, but it is also possible to attend as a guest for £5+ (depending on event). We currently have space for new members. You don’t have to live in Lover – all local ladies are welcome to join us.
