About us
Friends of Langley Wood was established in 2018 by volunteer conservationists from Redlynch.
We are a Foundation Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered with the Charity Commission (No 1178721) run by five trustees who all live locally.
Our mission
Simply to help resource, promote and protect Langley Wood and other nature reserves in the vicinity.
How we operate

As well as assisting Natural England in the delivery of conservation objectives in Langley Wood, we help the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in Franchises Wood and, where possible, conduct work on other nature reserves within Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. All work conducted by the Friends of Langley Wood is on an unpaid voluntary basis – we have no paid staff.
